As responsible citizens and Educational Institution, Suryadatta Group of Institutes does not lag behind in promoting various social awareness programmes and sensitizing and educating its students to be good corporate citizens. Keeping this in mind, Suryadatta Group of Institute’s NSS department organized a Walkathon on theme ‘Go Green and Say No to Plastic’. It was an initiative towards creating an awareness of Clean India Fit India.
NSS volunteers of SCMIRT and SCHMTT initiated and organized walkathon promoting awareness of “Go Green” in Bavdhan area, Pune on 22 nd January 2020 with the help of posters and slogans. Along with walkathon NSS Volunteers and SGI students cleaned the Bavdhan area.
With a vow to save environment, tree plantation was done at the hands of Founder President & Chairman of Suryadatta Group of Institutes Prof. Dr Sanjay Chordiya, Vice President and Secretary. Mrs. Sushma Chordiya. Heads of all departments, faculties and students of all departments of SGI participated the event enthusiastically.
