The Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for Class XII was successfully organized on 23rd June 2025 at the College Auditorium. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, students, and faculty members, reflecting a shared commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.
The PTM proved to be a valuable forum for fostering strong parent-teacher relationships, celebrating student accomplishments, and setting the tone for a successful academic year. The Suryadatta Group of Institutes celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with the groundbreaking Surya Yog Dhyanathon 2025, setting a new world record of 90,000+ Om chants in 98 minutes. Over 900 participants from diverse academic streams engaged in synchronized yoga and silent meditation, embodying the theme “A Rhythm of Body and Mind for Holistic Wellbeing.”
Highlights included a serene musical invocation, 9 Surya Namaskars, and a competitive segment awarding top performers. The event was officially documented by record-keeping organizations and live-streamed for global audiences.
Professor Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya emphasized yoga’s role in fostering harmony and wellness. Participants described the experience as transformative, uniting mindfulness with spiritual awareness.
The achievement was recognized with 12 prestigious certificates, reinforcing Suryadatta’s legacy of innovative yoga initiatives. The website now features event details, testimonials, and photo galleries, showcasing this milestone in promoting Indian heritage and global well-being.

Report on Felicitation of HSC Toppers – Batch 2024-25
The felicitation ceremony for the HSC toppers of Batch 2024-25 was a magnificent celebration of perseverance, dedication, and academic brilliance. Held on the 24th of May 2025 at the Bansiratna Auditorium, the event radiated pride and joy as students, parents, and faculty came together to honor exceptional achievements. The program commenced with the stirring notes of the National Anthem, followed by the symbolic lighting of the lamp—a beacon of knowledge and success. Inspiring addresses by Principals Dr. Kiran Rao and Mrs. Vandana Pandey set the tone, applauding the relentless efforts of students and the unwavering support of teachers and families.
One by one, the toppers from Commerce, Arts, Science, and MCVC streams were adorned with certificates and cash prizes, their faces glowing with accomplishment. Heartfelt stories shared by parents and students painted a vivid picture of challenges overcome and dreams realized. The Ceremonial Walk of Achievers 2025 was a breathtaking moment, as the toppers, holding lamps, walked the stage with pride, leaving the audience in awe.
As the event drew to a close, a warm vote of thanks and delightful snacks—samosas, chiwda, and pedhas—added a touch of sweetness to the afternoon. Laughter, tears, and shared memories filled the air, marking not just the end of an academic journey, but the beginning of new horizons. The ceremony was more than an event; it was a tribute to hard work, a celebration of unity, and an inspiration for generations to come.

Daksh Kahat, a student of Std XII Commerce delivered an introductory speech on the Significance of Buddha Purnima Celebration and stressing its pivotal role in today’s world.
Narration of Life journey of Lord Buddha from Prince to Saint:
Saanvi Mattigatti, a student of Std. XII Commerce narrated the Journey of Lord Buddha from Prince to Saint in a serene way spreading spirituality among the audience.
Poem Recitation:
Vedika Band, recited a soulful poem, showcasing the possibilities of extreme destruction caused by wars and its implications in today’s scenario.
Motivational Speech by Dr. Ramachandran (Director General & CDO of SGI):
Dr. Ramchandran delivered an inspiring speech on Sanatana Dharma by throwing an insight on Adi Shankaracharya’s work especially in spreading of Hinduism by establishing Matthh at four different places in India.
Drama 1:
An Anecdote of Buddha’s life – Story of Angulimaal : The story demonstrates that regardless of past actions, change is always attainable. Angulimala underwent a complete transformation from a ruthless murderer to a disciple of Lord Buddha. The drama was presented by Mayuresh Bonge (Commerce) in the role of Buddha, Sudam Pote (Science) in the role of Angulimaal and Vaishnavi Tipewar (Science) in the role of Angulimaal’s mother. It was beautifully narrated by Saanvi Mattigatti (Commerce). Script writing, music selection and overall coordination were done by Ms. Ankita Jadhav, Ms. Saili Hardas & Ms. Pinki Karmakar. Coordination for costumes of the characters was done by Mrs. Vandana Pandey & Ms. Siddhi Khale.
Drama 2:
Relevance of Buddha’s Teaching in Today’s Time:
The story revolved around a college boy, Rahul, who was addicted to his mobile phone so much so that he attempted attack on his teacher and his mother. Buddha’s Eightfold Teaching made him realize his mistakes and awakened him to follow the path of compassion & non-violence. The drama was presented by Mayuresh Bonge (Commerce) in the role of Buddha, Shlok Mohol (Commerce) in the role of Rahul, Daksh Kahat (Commerce) in the role of teacher, Gargi Zare (Commerce) in the role of Rahul’s mother and Pranay Kumbhar (Science) in the role of Rahul’s friend. The story narration was done by Saanvi Mattigatti (Commerce). Script writing , music selection and overall coordination were done by Ms. Ankita Jadhav, Ms. Saili Hardas & Ms. Pinki Karmakar. Dialogues were improvised by the students for their respective characters.

The program was concluded with a short speech by Ms. Pinki Karmakar on Mobile phone being a necessary evil.

Maharashtra Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Suryadatta group of Junior Colleges. The event aimed to honor and promotes the rich heritage, language, and traditions of Maharashtra, and it was a vibrant showcase of Marathi pride and identity. Mrs. Nilima Marathe a faculty of Marathi subject guided all the students of Marathi language and in her direction students presented a nice structured event.
The program was efficiently anchored by Saniya Roy and Daksh Kahat from XII Commerce.
Vaishnavi Londhe and Anuj Vanjale from XII Commerce delivered insightful speeches on Marathi culture and the importance of Marathi day. Other engaging speeches were delivered by Aditya jadhav, Saloni Choudhary, and Sudam Pote focusing on Maharashtra’s glory, history, and contributions of great social reformers & activists. Atharva kudale also contributed with an informative speech.
A cultural skit showcasing Maharashtra’s tradition was performed by XII Science students Samruddhi Wayal, Sakshi Pakhre.
Vaishnavi Tipewar,Bhakti shingde and Vaishnavi Londhe from science stream presented a musical performance based on the theme “Hi Marathi mauli”……
Faculty members of Suryadatta Public school presented beautiful songs in chorus. Mrs. Preeti Chandorkar, Mrs. Ashwini Deshpande, Mrs. Radhika Petkar, Mrs. Prachi Kelkar, Mrs. Shalinee Tiwary, Mrs. Nupura Deo, Mrs. Prajakta tavargeri , Ms. Ankita Jadhav & Ms. Siddhi Khale participated for the group song. Mrs. Chhaya Nikam narrated the essence of the song in simple words “how great cultured, traditions, vigilant, educated, hardworking and humble the people of Maharashtra are! It was an informative talk, students listened it very carefully.
She also informed the students about “Akshay Tritiya” with the reference of the Great Pandavas when they were living in jungle in disguised forms. They did not have anything to eat. Lord Krishna provided them a pot that would fulfill their needs of food. Similarly on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya , taking bath in the holy rivers the Ganga & the Yamuna was also referred by her.
The main attraction of today’s programme was the Board Decoration where an outline of Maharashtra & Chhatrapati Shivaji’s Maharaj pictures were drawn by Ms. Siddhi Khale with the help of a few students.
Principal Mrs. Kiran Rao appreciated the efforts of the students who decorated and participated in the event.
The program concluded gracefully with remarks by Daksh Kahat & Saniya Roy who hosted the event.
Students and staff wore traditional attire. The event was a vibrant tribute to the Marathi languge, promoting pride and cultural awareness amongst students. In the last laddoos were distributed to all the attendees and with lots of happiness and learning, they dispersed.

Anushka participated with enthusiasm and determination in the Dso Shooting Championship, demonstrating a strong passion for the sport and a commitment to excellence.
In the 10-meter Peep Sight Air Rifle category, Anushka showcased exceptional accuracy and precision, hitting the target consistently and earning a well-deserved 1st place in the competition.
Throughout the championship, Anushka exhibited exemplary sportsmanship, displaying respect for fellow competitors, officials, and the principles of fair play. Participating in the Dso Shooting Championship has provided Anushka with valuable lessons and experiences.

The Under-16 Boys basketball team played in under 18 category and played a wonderfull game they went in qauters and lost against loyola school.
Team playing with 6 players and in under 18 age group is really appreciated they had great fight against loyola match went in over time and we lost.
Basketball team participated in SFA championship and showcasing their proficiency. Each player presented unique challenges, and team approached in quarters . Their skill full play was really markable in the championship.

अशाप्रकारच्या वर्गाबाहेरील परस्परसंवादामुळे भीतीच्या भिंती कोलमडतात . विद्यार्थी आणि शिक्षक यांच्यात एक बंध निर्माण होतो, ज्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांना संवाद साधण्यास, शिकण्यास आणि संवाद वाढण्यास मदत होते. तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांना व्यावहारिक ज्ञान प्राप्त होते . अशा आणखी फील्ड ट्रिप चे नियोजन वर्षभर असते जेणेकरून नजीकच्या भविष्यात जास्तीत जास्त विद्यार्थ्यांना त्याचा फायदा होईल असे प्रा डॉ संजय बी चोरडिया म्हणाले .

Each year on 12th July, World paper Bag Day is observed to spread awareness of the use of the environment-friendly alternative to harmful plastic bags.
In pursuance of the above a workshop was held for the current 12th students on 12th July, 2023 from 10am to 11am in classroom. The workshop was conducted by the teachers of Environment club namely, Mrs. Richa Varshneya, Mrs. Preeti Chandorkar and Mrs. Latika Kulkarni. The students participated enthusiastically and the workshop was attended by nearly 100 students. The motto of the whole workshop was “Each One, Make one”.
A demonstration on making paper bags was given by Mrs. Latika Kulkarni and all the students’ present prepared papers bags using old and scrap newspapers. All the faculty members of the junior college also participated and made papers bags along with the students. Principal of both SPS & SJC Mrs. Kiran Rao & Mrs. Vandana Pandey respectively too participated in the programme and encouraged the students in spreading the message of saving our environment and taking small steps towards the same.
The students were very happy and content as they took baby steps towards saving our environment. They also distributed the paper bags made by them in the Bavdhan campus and shared the same message everywhere.

The chief guest was Senior Hindi Officer of IITM ( Mosam Vibhag ) pune .He has done MA in English ,Economics and Hindi. He has done PhD in Hindi. He has done PG Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personal Management. He has done PG Diploma in Translation and received Gold Medal. The chief guest Dr. Omkarnath Shukl served 20 years as an airman in the Indian Air Force. Served for 06 years in the field of official language in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Served 16 years as Senior Hindi Officer in IITM Pune.
Areas of interest: Yoga-Pranayama, reading spiritual books, writing articles in Hindi, official language and lectures and discussions on various topics of social concern.
The chief guest Dr. Omkarnath shukl in his address highlighted that Hindi is the official language of our nation and about the journey of Hindi language .All our efforts should be for the development of this language .This is the language of the
Masses and can become an effective medium of communicating facts and great ideas to the people. Further, He said in order
to boost this language, we should celebrate this day every year and should also organize orientation programs,
Seminars/essay writing competitions, short stories etc. throughout the year for strengthening this beautiful language.Dr Mithileshawer sir also addressed the students. He spoke about the relation of Hindi language and law .He said, “Hindi is the language of our emotions.”

Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman of Suryadatta Education Foundation’s, is a senior management professional, a passionate Educationist and a philanthropist. Along with a degree in Mechanical engineering from the college of Engineering Pune (COEP). Dr. Chordiya also completed his Masters in Marketing Management, Material Management, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management and a Doctorate in a Environmental Science. Prior to establishment of Suryadatta Education Foundation. He worked for 20 year at Senior Management of Force Motors Ltd. He has also served the industry in various capacities.
On the occasion of the 24th Foundation day of Suryadatta Education Foundation, the Suryadatta Group of Institutes presented ‘Suryadatta National Lifetime Achievement Award 2022’ & ‘Suryadatta National Award’ to dignitaries from different walks of life. The ceremony was held at Suryabhavan on the campus of Suryadatta Group of Institutes in Bavdhan, Pune.
The event saw the presence of Lokesh Muniji, Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalotaji, Professor Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Education Foundation, Mrs. Sushama S.
