
The French Day was celebrated in Suryadutta Public School with great enthusiasm. The programme was arranged by students of French language under the guidance of their professor. The programme was started by Ms. Arabella Choytooa , student of Std XII, Commerce who spoke about the importance of the Bastille Day and importance of France in the present world. After that it was Quiz Time which was hosted by Arabella and Elijah Menzes student of STD XII from Tourism and Hospitality Studies (MCVC). All the astudents and teachers participated with a lot of enthusiasm.
A Power Point Presentation was given by the professor of French Mrs. Saily Shintre on French – Your Passport to the World. The presentation highlighted the French presence in India and career prospects with French language. Shreya Kulkarni, an alumni of Suryadatta college , now M.A. French also presented her story in the form of a video. Principal of Suryadatta Public School Mrs. Kiran Rao encouraged the students to learn the different languages and respect the languages as being a human it’s a great gift given to us by the God. She also motivated the students to remain away from any type of conflicts of languages. Small potted plants were offered as a token of gratitude for their presence to the Principal & all the Heads of the Departments & the teachers. The programme ended with Vote of Thanks that was proposed by Elijah.
