The International Anti-Drug Day awareness program was organized with the presence of the esteemed guests:
Dr. Ashok Dongare Assistant Police Inspector (Bavdhan Police Station) addressed the students of all the departments of Suryadatta Group of Institutes. He emphasized the importance of good health and guided students on how to stay away from addiction. He constantly encouraged the students to understand the importance of hardship, focused study and a life which is away from any type of drugs, abuse or unhealthy things. The session began with the screening of short films focused on the harmful effects of drug addiction. It caught the attention of all the students and they got involved fully with the event. It was an interactive session where students raised several questions, which were addressed effectively by Dr. Dongare. The students learnt the importance of a healthy body and mind. They understood the importance of logical and sensible thinking, difference between genuine people and strangers, about the different types of traps that may destroy the life of the students. The session got over with a pledge taken by the students.
